James was born In Chaoyang County, Guangdong Province, China. Since childhood he has been learning the ancient Chinese metaphysics of Feng Shui and Fortune Telling. Much of his early knowledge was passed on by his ancestors, in particular his grandmother. As a young James, studies in Ancient Chinese Literature at highly reputable institutions in China, examining traditional Chinese culture and civilization. He further enhanced his knowledge by studying under famous Feng Shui masters from Hong Kong and Taiwan. All this knowledge established the foundation for his current work and professionalism in the field.

At present, with over 20 years experience as Feng Shui practitioner, James often exchanges his knowledge with with well-known Feng Shui Masters from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He believes that in the modern society where technology and wisdom is developing at such a rapid rate, Feng Shui will display its unique function. With years of experience and having combined different schools of Feng Shui theories. James has developed a Feng Shui model that is applicable to both the Southern and Northern Hemisphere.

In 1990 James established the Melbourne Feng Shui Science & Services Centre which specializes in providing Feng Shui consultation services to the Australian community. He has clients from all major cities in the country, with both Eastern and Western backgrounds. He is able to provide them with appropriate advice on all aspects of life including investments, health, career potentials, relationships, etc. Nowadays, he is known to the Melbourne Chinese community as an active and popular Feng Shui and fortune telling master, and has helped many hundreds of families with both their domestic and commercial issues.

Print Media: James has been a regular guest columnist for many leading Chinese Newspapers in Australia, Including - Australian Chinese News, Sing Tao Daily Newspaper, The Pacific Times, and The Tide Chinese Newspaper. Over the past 20 years he has published more than 70 feature articles, including “Australia Feng Shui Geography", “Melbourne Casino Feng Shui" & “China Feng Shui Review”. The Age and Herald Sun has also invited him on multiple occasions to introduce and describe the concept and practicality of Feng Shui to the wider community On an annual basis since 1994, he has been a guest writer for the Chinese Yellow Pages and Chinese Business Guide to provide his Feng Shui predictions for the coming year.

Television & Radio:James is a regular guest speaker for SBS, 3ZZZ, ABC, and Channel 31. He has also co-hosted three Feng Shui broadcast series, “Between Sky & Earth", “The Southern mainland”, and “Australia Feng Shui Reveal”. Every Chinese New Year, SBS invites James to predict the fortunes for Australia and the world as well as discuss the 12 individual Chinese Horoscopes. This program has become one of the most anticipated events during the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Charity & social services for non-profit organizations:James is a Special Consultant for the Bright Moon Buddhist Society Incorporation, Victoria, and consultant for the Victoria Ethic Chinese Elderly Caring Association Incorporation. In addition, James often donates items from his precious personal collection such as Chinese Calligraphy for charity auctions to sponsor Chinese Schools in Victoria. As a member of World Vision, James has been sponsoring many children in the third world country to assist them with both their studies and their basic living needs.

Academic Exchange:James has conducted presentations to students at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Melbourne Metaphysics College, introducing to them the concept and practicality of Feng Shui. He has also held workshops and encouraged students to undertake Feng Shui analysis at Shanghai’s East China Architectural Design & Research Institute, and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. James had introduced the effective use of Feng Shui to China Construction Bank, Shanghai’s Agricultural Bank of China, and many other large corporate organisations.
